Our Mission
The mattress industry has long been plagued by confusing marketing, inflated prices, and biased reviews. When our founder tried to buy a mattress in 2014, they were frustrated by the lack of transparent, science-based information.
That frustration sparked Sleep Sage. We believe everyone deserves access to honest, expert mattress reviews that cut through the marketing noise and help you make an informed decision.
Today we've evaluated 500+ products since launch, and 199 mattresses sit in our standardized database, scored with the same 9-factor methodology (v2.1).

Sleep Sage publishes independent research and product guidance using hands-on product evaluation, manufacturer specifications, peer-reviewed research, published safety guidance, owner feedback, and other reputable sources. Health-related information is provided for educational purposes and should not be considered medical advice.
Sleep Sage does not employ physicians, physical therapists, or other licensed clinicians, and our pages are not medically reviewed. When we reference health research, we cite the original organization or study so you can check it yourself.
