Sleep Sage Mattress Research
We review 185 mattresses and have put 34 of them through an instrumented lab protocol. These studies interrogate that dataset instead of adding to it — asking what the numbers say about price, construction, durability, cooling and firmness once you look at the whole catalogue at once. Every figure recalculates from the live review data, so a study can never drift out of sync with the mattress pages behind it.

Every study is a computation over two datasets we publish in full: the review database, which holds our prices, specifications and category scores, and the lab results file, which holds raw instrument readings — surface temperature rise, motion transfer, edge sinkage, pressure mapping, response time and roller-test outcomes.
No study adjusts a score or a ranking. Where a source field is free text — a trial period, a warranty, a profile height — we parse it conservatively and exclude anything ambiguous rather than guessing, then report the effective sample size on the page.
