Nectar markets a Forever Warranty, and the structure behind the marketing is straightforward: ten years of full replacement, then continued coverage where you carry the transport cost.
YEARS 1–10. If the mattress develops a covered defect, Nectar replaces it with a new mattress at no charge.
YEAR 10 ONWARD. Nectar repairs or replaces at its option. You are responsible for a $50 shipping fee each way, and that fee is waived once Nectar confirms a defect in materials or workmanship. In practice, a genuine defect still costs nothing; a claim that turns out not to be a defect costs $100.
THE SAG THRESHOLD. Nectar covers deterioration causing a visible indentation greater than one and one half inches (1.5") that is not associated with sag resulting from an improper or unsupportive foundation. Measure with no weight on the bed.
THE FOUNDATION CONDITION. The mattress must be used on a firm, solid surface — a base structurally capable of supporting the mattress and sleepers for the whole of its life. If your slatted frame flexes under the mattress, an indentation claim is at risk regardless of how deep it is.
WHO IS COVERED. The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser from the original purchase date and is non-transferable. You must show proof of original purchase, and the mattress must be returned with the mattress cover still on.
PRACTICAL ADVICE. Photograph your base the day the mattress arrives. Nectar's exclusion is written around the foundation, and a dated photo of compliant slat spacing and centre support is far more persuasive years later than a description over the phone.
