Adapt is part of the Tempur lineup. The original viscoelastic foam mattress brand, born from NASA tech. We haven't tested this specific model in our Encinitas lab yet.
Our take
The Adapt is the entry point to Tempur-Pedic's current lineup and the model most shoppers mean when they search 'Tempur-Pedic mattress.' It uses the original TEMPUR material formulation — slow-moving, deep-contouring memory foam that isolates motion better than almost anything else on the market. Hot sleepers should look at the Breeze line instead; value shoppers should know the same contouring is available in the cheaper Tempur-Cloud.
