Saatva's trial is 365 nights on mattresses and furniture, 180 nights on mattress toppers, and 45 nights on bedding, crib mattresses, lamps, dog beds and nightstands. The lengths differ by product category, so check which bucket your order falls into.
THE $99 FEE. Saatva charges a $99 processing fee on mattress, furniture and bed-frame returns and exchanges. That is the cost of the white-glove crew collecting a heavy innerspring or hybrid from your bedroom, and it is deducted from the refund.
THE EXCLUSION THAT SURPRISES PEOPLE. The Saatva Adjustable Base and Adjustable Base Plus have no home trial and cannot be returned or exchanged. If you are buying a mattress-and-base bundle, understand that only the mattress half is returnable. Toppers and bedding can be returned but not exchanged — you return and repurchase.
HOW TO START THE RETURN. Saatva has a genuine self-service path. Use the order tracker or sign in to your account, open the order, choose "View Details", then "Request a return or exchange", pick a reason and submit. A Saatva sleep guide follows up, typically within a day, to schedule collection.
BREAK-IN. Saatva does not gate the return behind a hard minimum number of nights, but it does advise that adjusting to a new mattress can take from a few weeks up to a month. If your complaint is firmness rather than a defect, give it that time — Saatva will often suggest it anyway.
REFUNDS. Refunds go back to the original payment method; Saatva's help centre notes limits on how card refunds are handled after 180 days, so do not sit on a return you have already decided to make.
