DreamCloud's trial page is unusually simple: 365 nights, full refund, free pickup. There is no published restocking fee and no requirement to ship the mattress back yourself — DreamCloud arranges collection.
HOW TO START. Returns go through DreamCloud support: chat on the site, phone (833) 237-3269, or support@dreamcloudsleep.com. Give your order number and the delivery date, because the trial clock runs from delivery.
THE BREAK-IN QUESTION. Most bed-in-a-box brands, including sister brand Nectar, require 30 nights before a return. DreamCloud's own trial page does not state a minimum in the text we verified. Ask support directly rather than assuming you can return it in week one.
CONDITION MATTERS MORE THAN PAPERWORK. As with every mattress return, the practical gate is condition. A clean, undamaged, unstained mattress can be collected and donated; a stained one usually cannot. Buy a protector with the mattress.
WHAT DREAMCLOUD DOES NOT PUBLISH. Refund timing and the full exclusions list are not stated on the trial page. If you bought through a third-party retailer rather than dreamcloudsleep.com, the retailer's policy applies instead of DreamCloud's trial.
PRACTICAL ADVICE. Decide by night 60, not night 300. A year sounds generous, but people who drift past the two-month mark almost always keep a mattress they do not like, and the longer you sleep on it the more likely it is to pick up the stain or damage that blocks the return.
