Amerisleep As5 Hybrid
As5 Hybrid is part of the Amerisleep lineup. We have no documented instrumented test results for this exact model.
Our take
The AS5 Hybrid is Amerisleep's softest and tallest mattress, with an active-flex layer that lets a very plush surface still support heavier sleepers. It's a rare combination: genuinely soft and genuinely supportive at the same time. Lightweight side sleepers who want a cloud feel without giving up alignment are the target buyer.
Historical Amerisleep brand-wide Queen range: $1,049–$2,399 (mid to premium). This is not this model's verified price or a current offer.

Construction
These are clues inferred from the model name, not verified materials or performance specifications. Confirm the exact construction with the manufacturer's current spec sheet before buying.
Hybrid
Foam or latex comfort layers over a pocketed-coil support core. Hybrids typically offer better edge support and airflow than all-foam builds.
Amerisleep signature technology
- Bio-Pur Foam: Partially plant-based memory foam with an open-cell structure that measures cooler and more responsive than conventional memory foam.
- HIVE Transition Layer: A hexagonal-cut transition layer with five support zones — softer at shoulders, firmer at hips and lumbar.
- Refresh Cover: A mineral-infused cover marketed for converting body heat into far infrared energy; in practice it adds modest surface cooling.
