The Amerisleep AS3 is the brand's most popular model and the one we recommend for people who want memory foam without the heat. Bio-Pur, its plant-based foam, is more open-celled than petroleum memory foam, so it responds faster and vents better; the HIVE zoned transition layer softens under shoulders and hips while firming under the lumbar. That combination makes the medium (5.5) AS3 unusually position-agnostic, working for side, back, and combination sleepers in the 130 to 230 lb range.
