What the numbers mean — and don't
Treat the output as three tiers of reliability.
- Trustworthy: bedtime, wake time, total sleep duration, night-to-night consistency, and resting heart rate trends.
- Directionally useful: sleep efficiency, wake episodes, respiratory rate trends, overnight temperature deviation.
- Rough estimates only: minutes of deep and REM sleep, and any single-number "sleep score" built from them.
