Our Hands-On Experience
The Technogel Deluxe was a revelation in our pillow testing lab. The water-based gel layer feels genuinely different from every other 'cooling' pillow I've tested — it's not just cool to the touch for the first few minutes, it maintains a neutral temperature throughout the entire night. Our thermal camera showed a consistent 2-4°F lower surface temperature compared to gel-infused memory foam alternatives.
The cube gel design with patented air channels is the key innovation. Rather than a flat gel sheet, the gel is formed into tiny cubes that deform independently. This creates both airflow passages and targeted pressure relief — your head sinks into the gel without bottoming out. The sensation is closer to floating than sinking.

Night 1
The cool-to-touch surface is immediately obvious and slightly odd. Both testers slept through the night.
Week 2
Back sleeper reported the most consistent neck angle of any pillow in the round; the gel doesn't shift overnight.
Night 60
Zero visible wear. The cover pilled slightly where it contacts the headboard.
Care, washing & durability
The cover unzips and machine washes cold. The gel and foam core should only be wiped down — never submerge it.

The bottom line

Does the gel stay cool all night?
No pillow does. It absorbs heat for roughly 25 minutes before equalizing, then holds a 3.4°F rise — still the second-coolest result in our set.
