Pact Organic Cotton Sheet Set Overview
Pact Organic Cotton sheets bring GOTS-certified organic and Fair Trade Factory certification to a sub-$100 price point. Our 10-wash test confirmed reliable softness and quality from the trusted organic apparel brand.
Our Review
Known for their organic apparel, Pact brings the same commitment to bedding. At $99, these are among the most affordable GOTS-certified organic cotton sheets available. Fair Trade Factory certified with a smooth sateen finish — perfect for first-time organic sheet buyers who don't want to break the bank.
Our Hands-On Experience
Pact made their name in organic apparel, and their bedding line applies the same philosophy: certified organic at accessible prices. At $99 for GOTS-certified organic cotton with Fair Trade Factory certification, these hit a price point that removes the 'organic premium' excuse for most shoppers.
The 300-thread-count sateen is smooth and comfortable, though noticeably less luxurious than Boll & Branch's $229 offering. That's expected at this price. What impressed me was the consistency — the weave is even, the stitching is clean, and the elastic on the fitted sheet is strong. Good quality control at an aggressive price.
After 10 washes, these sheets softened nicely and maintained their color well. The organic cotton feels honest — not coated with softeners or chemical finishes that wash out. What you feel at wash 10 is what you'll feel at wash 100, which is a hallmark of quality organic cotton.
The main downside is the shorter warranty and limited size options. No Twin XL means college students are out of luck. But for a Queen or King in an adult household, Pact delivers certified organic peace of mind at a price that doesn't require financial justification.

Customer Reviews
Finally affordable organic!
I love Pact's clothes so I tried the sheets. Same great organic quality without the premium price tag.
Solid organic option
Good quality for the price. Not as soft as Boll & Branch but at half the cost, I'm happy.
Frequently Asked Questions About Pact Organic Cotton Sheet Set
Pact Organic Cotton Sheet Set: Lab Results & Long-Term Testing
Tested September 3, 2026 by BT/MR. Verified on wearpact.com on September 3, 2026.
Measured in our lab
A GOTS-certified organic cotton set at $99 from a brand better known for apparel. We tested whether the certification comes with real fabric quality.
| Metric | Result | Category avg. | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fabric weight | 121 GSM | 125 GSM | Light percale weight; crisp rather than plush. |
| Shrinkage after 5 washes | 3.4% | 3.5% | Normal for unmercerized organic cotton. |
| Pilling (2,000 rubs) | Slight | Slight-moderate | Clean result. |
| Humidity at contact patch (60 min) | 53% RH | 58% RH | Breathes well — organic cotton with no chemical finishes. |
Our long-term sleep log
60 nights and five washes with a tester with sensitive skin.
Night 1
No finishing chemical smell at all, which is the practical benefit of GOTS certification.
Wash 2
Softened quickly. The fitted sheet elastic stayed tight through all five cycles.
Night 60
Even wear, slight fading in a dark colorway.
Care, washing & durability
Wash warm, tumble low, skip softener. Organic cotton keeps softening with each wash for the first couple of months.
$99 for GOTS-certified cotton is competitive. Expect four to six years of weekly use.
The bottom line
A clean, honest organic cotton set at $99 and the one we suggest for sensitive skin or chemical-sensitivity concerns.
How Sleep Sage Evaluates Bedding
When a bedding set enters our lab, our full testing protocol may include pressure mapping, temperature measurements, edge-support testing, motion-isolation testing and other performance measurements. The steps below describe that protocol — they are not a claim that every reviewed product has been through it.
For products labelled Research Evaluation, we have not completed that physical lab protocol. Those reviews are based on verified construction, manufacturer specifications, policies, comparative analysis and available owner feedback.
Lab Tested: This bedding set completed our physical testing protocol. The measurements published for it come from that testing.
Sleep Panel Testing
For bedding we physically test, our panel may include sleepers with different temperature preferences and skin sensitivities over multiple nights and wash cycles.
Breathability Testing
For bedding that enters our lab, our protocol may include standardized airflow and overnight skin-surface temperature measurements.
Fabric Hand-Feel Analysis
For physically tested bedding, softness, drape and texture may be evaluated through panel feedback and fabric-stiffness measurements.
Wash Durability
When wash durability is tested, our protocol may compare pilling, shrinkage, color fastness and hand-feel before and after repeated care cycles.
Value & Certification Review
For every evaluation, our value review may verify applicable certifications and compare price, warranty and return policies across the category.
Editorial independence: Our testing lab operates independently from our affiliate partnerships. Brands cannot pay for higher scores or influence our methodology. Read our full editorial policy and detailed testing methodology.
