Our Review
The Coop Eden Cool+ isn't a traditional shoulder cutout pillow, but its ultra-adjustable fill lets you create a lower profile that reduces shoulder pressure. Remove fill until you achieve perfect alignment — many side sleepers find this approach more comfortable than rigid cutout designs. The phase-change cooling cover is one of the best in the industry.
Our Hands-On Experience
The Eden takes Coop's adjustable cross-cut fill and adds gel infusion plus a cooling cover, which addresses the one legitimate complaint about the Original: it can warm up under a heavy head. In side-by-side testing the Eden's surface stayed cooler through the first two hours.
The shoulder cutout version is the one to buy if you are a side sleeper. Combined with removable fill, it lets you solve loft and shoulder pressure independently, which no fixed-shape pillow can do.
It is softer overall than the Original and slightly less structured as a result. At $89 it is the best all-round adjustable pillow for warm sleepers, with the Original still the pick if you want the firmest version of Coop's fill.
