The Lagoon Fox is the brand's side-sleeper specialist: it ships overstuffed with firm shredded memory foam to fill the full shoulder-to-ear gap, and you unzip and remove fill until the height keeps your spine level. That firmness is the point — soft pillows collapse under the head's weight and let the neck drop toward the mattress, which is exactly what side sleepers can't afford. In our side-sleeper testing the Fox kept cervical alignment better than any adjustable pillow in this price band, including the standard Coop Original, and held its loft through the night with less refluffing than softer shredded fills. It sleeps a touch warmer than the Otter due to the denser fill pack, and strict back or stomach sleepers should look elsewhere — even with fill removed, the Fox's firmness profile favors lateral positions. For dedicated side sleepers, especially broader-shouldered frames, it's one of the best values in the category.

Finally no morning neck pain
I'm 6'1" with broad shoulders and every pillow bottoms out on me. The Fox came stuffed to the brim — I only removed a couple handfuls. First pillow in years that keeps my neck straight all night.
Firm means firm
Great support as a side sleeper, but don't buy this if you ever sleep on your stomach — it's way too much pillow for that. Perfect for what I needed.

Care, washing & durability
The cover machine washes cold; the fill bag should only be air-fluffed. Lagoon sells replacement fill if it ever packs down for good.
Low-loft pillows are the most commonly mis-bought category. If you wake with a sore neck on standard pillows and sleep face-down, this is the shape of the fix.
The bottom line
The best low-loft adjustable pillow in our set at $150 and the one we hand to stomach sleepers first. Side sleepers should take the taller Lagoon models instead.
