The shredded gel-infused memory foam fill can be added or removed through a zippered inner liner, so you can dial the loft from stomach-sleeper low to side-sleeper high over a week of testing. In our evaluation the Otter hit a genuinely versatile medium feel — supportive enough to keep the neck neutral on your side, compressible enough to avoid craning when you roll to your back. It sleeps cooler than solid memory foam thanks to the shredded fill's airflow, and the knit cover is soft, stretchy, and machine washable. At $140 it's priced above budget adjustables like the Beckham but below premium picks, and Lagoon's 100-night trial with a 5-year warranty takes the risk out of the purchase.

The quiz actually worked
I was skeptical of the animal quiz thing but it matched me to the Otter and it's the first pillow that works whether I'm on my side or back. Removed about a quarter of the fill after week one and haven't touched it since.
Great pillow, slight foam smell at first
Really comfortable once adjusted. It needed two days to air out and I refluff it every morning, but my neck pain from my old flat pillow is gone.
