Our Hands-On Experience
Foam density is the single best predictor of how long a topper lasts, and 4 lb is genuinely high for this price. Most sub-$200 memory foam toppers use 2.5 to 3 lb foam that develops a permanent body impression inside a year; this one held its shape through our six-month test.
The trade-off for density is response time and heat. Even with gel infusion, it warms up more than latex and moves more slowly than AirFoam. Combination sleepers who reposition constantly should look elsewhere.
For back and side sleepers who want durable, medium-feel contouring on a firm mattress, the $219 price is the strongest durability-per-dollar case in the memory foam category. The removable, washable cover with anchor straps is a practical bonus.

That density is why it holds its loft for years instead of pancaking in 18 months.
