Our Hands-On Experience
The phase-change cover is the reason to buy this one. PCM fabric absorbs heat until it saturates, which in our testing meant a genuinely cool first 20 to 40 minutes at the surface — the window that matters most for people who struggle to fall asleep when they are hot.
Underneath, the gel-infused memory foam is standard-issue medium-soft. It contours pleasantly and is generously sized, but it does not have the density or the rebound of TEMPUR or latex, and heavier sleepers will compress through it.
At $129 it is the price-to-performance pick of the cooling category. Treat it as a two-to-four-year purchase rather than a decade-long one, and wash the removable cover on cold to keep the PCM finish intact.

Care, washing & durability
The cover is machine washable and that is the maintenance schedule — wash cold, tumble low, never hot. Heat kills the phase-change finish.
Three-year warranty. This is a mid-life topper, not a decade product: budget on replacing it in four to five years of nightly use.
The bottom line
The best cooling-per-dollar memory foam topper in this round, and the washable phase-change cover is the reason. Less durable than latex, much cheaper than the TEMPUR.
