Our Hands-On Experience
This is the entry point of the category and should be judged against that. For $89 you get 3 inches of charcoal-infused memory foam that will noticeably soften a too-firm mattress in the first week. That is a real result at a price where most alternatives are 1.5-inch fiber pads.
The charcoal infusion helps with odor more than with temperature. Our thermal readings showed it running warmer than the ViscoSoft PCM topper and much warmer than latex. Hot sleepers should spend the extra $40.
Expect an off-gassing period of two to three days and a shorter service life than premium foam — our unit showed a visible body impression at the six-month mark. It is the right buy for guest rooms, dorms, rentals and anyone testing whether a softer surface actually helps before committing more money.

Care, washing & durability
The cover is removable and washable. The foam core is spot clean only, and lower-density foam is more prone to holding moisture — dry any spot cleaning thoroughly.
Three-year warranty, but plan on two to three years of nightly use before the compression set is noticeable. As a guest-room topper it will last far longer.
The bottom line
The right call for a guest room, a college dorm, or a short-term fix while you save for a mattress. On a nightly bed it softens faster than anything else in this round.
