Olee Sleep's Galaxy is the firm option in the budget Amazon hybrid tier, and firmness is exactly why people buy it. Where the Linenspa and Mercer aim at medium and plush, the Galaxy sits around 7.5 on our scale — flat, supportive, and unforgiving in a way that back and stomach sleepers with lower-back complaints often prefer. The coil unit is the thickest part of the build and the comfort layer above it is deliberately thin, which is what keeps the price near $259 and also what makes it a poor choice for side sleeping. It is a good bunk bed, kid's bed, guest bed, or spare-room mattress for someone who wants a firm surface and is not paying more than $300 to get it.
