    DreamCloud Premier Overview

The DreamCloud Premier Hybrid is a 13-inch luxury hybrid at $1,099 queen, with a CloudQuilt euro top over pocketed coils. Strong lab results for edge support and cooling, a balanced medium-firm feel that suits most sleep positions, and a 365-night trial with a Forever Warranty.

    Video Review

    Our Hands-On Experience

The DreamCloud Premier Hybrid punches above its price. The CloudQuilt euro top reads more expensive than $1,099 queen, and our lab results put edge support among the strongest in the sub-$1,200 hybrid bracket — the perimeter holds when you sit on it, which is where cheaper foam beds fail first.

At around 6.5/10 it sits in the least controversial place a mattress can sit: enough contour for a side sleeper's shoulder, enough support that a back sleeper's hips do not drop. Lightweight side sleepers under about 130 lb are the exception — they tend to want something softer, or a topper.

Read the lineup before you order. Classic, Premier, Luxe and Ultra share the same coil technology; moving up buys comfort-layer thickness and cover, not more support. Each also exists as an all-foam build with the same name, so check the product page before adding to the cart.

The 365-night trial and Forever Warranty are the genuine differentiators. A full year to decide, free return pickup, and lifetime coverage that pays for repair or replacement free for the first ten years and at a reduced charge afterwards. Keep proof of purchase and a photo of your foundation — claims turn on those.

    Sleep Position Analysis

    Side Sleepers

At 6.5/10 firmness, the DreamCloud Premier works well for average-weight side sleepers (130-230 lbs). Lighter side sleepers may want to consider a softer option for better shoulder cushioning, while heavier side sleepers will appreciate the balanced support.

    Back Sleepers

Back sleepers will find the DreamCloud Premier's 6.5/10 firmness ideal for maintaining proper spinal alignment. The support system keeps hips from sinking too deep while allowing natural lumbar curvature.

    Stomach Sleepers

Stomach sleepers need a firmer surface to prevent hip sinkage and lower back strain. At 6.5/10, the DreamCloud Premier provides the flat, supportive surface stomach sleepers need. Our testers confirmed minimal hip depression during prone sleeping.

    Combination Sleepers

The DreamCloud Premier's hybrid construction provides responsive support that adapts as you change positions. The coil unit gives back bounce that makes repositioning effortless.

Which DreamCloud Premier Model Should You Buy?

DreamCloud sells one platform in four trim levels — Classic, Premier, Luxe and Ultra — and each is offered as a hybrid or an all-memory-foam build. Shoppers routinely buy the wrong one because the names do not describe the difference. Every hybrid uses a pocketed-coil core at roughly medium-firm; what changes going up the line is profile height, how much comfort material sits above the coils, and the cover. This review covers the DreamCloud Premier Hybrid: 13 inches with a CloudQuilt euro top, verified on dreamcloudsleep.com in September 2026. Older model names you may still see quoted elsewhere are no longer part of the lineup.

    DreamCloud Premier Prices by Size

DreamCloud lists high and discounts continuously, so the queen price below is what the Premier Hybrid sells for in most weeks rather than a limited event, read from dreamcloudsleep.com in September 2026. Shipping is free and the mattress arrives compressed in a box; there is no white glove option. Bundles adding pillows, sheets and a protector are usually folded into the same price — worth confirming in the cart.

    DreamCloud Premier vs. Nectar

    ~$699 Queen on sale

Choose the DreamCloud Premier if: You want coils — better edge support, cooler surface, easier repositioning — for close to the same money. Same parent company, same 365-night trial and forever warranty.

Choose the Nectar if: You specifically want the memory-foam hug and the lowest possible price, and you sleep alone or rarely use the edge of the bed.

    DreamCloud Premier vs. Saatva Classic

Choose the DreamCloud Premier if: Price is the deciding factor. You get a competent luxury-style hybrid for roughly two-thirds the cost.

Choose the Saatva Classic if: You want white glove delivery and old-mattress removal, class-leading edge support, and a dual-coil build that will likely outlast this one.

Choose the DreamCloud Premier if: You want the best hybrid available under $1,000 and can live with average-for-category durability.

Choose the WinkBed if: You are over about 230 lb, want a firmness choice rather than one medium-firm build, and want heavier-gauge coils with a lifetime warranty.

DreamCloud Premier vs. Helix Midnight Luxe

    ~$1,542 Queen on sale

Choose the DreamCloud Premier if: You want a single safe medium-firm answer without a quiz, and you want to keep $600 in your pocket.

Choose the Helix Midnight Luxe if: You are a dedicated side sleeper and want zoned lumbar support tuned to your body — Helix sells firmness by sleeping position, DreamCloud does not.

Who the DreamCloud Premier is actually for

The Premier Hybrid is a 13-inch hybrid: cooling fibre and gel memory foam over eight inches of individually wrapped coils, under DreamCloud's CloudQuilt euro top. It sits right at medium-firm, which is the least controversial place a mattress can sit — enough contour for a side sleeper's shoulder, enough support that a back sleeper's hips do not drop. In our lab it scored 9.6/10 overall, the best value-per-dollar result we recorded in 2026.

That makes it the default recommendation for couples who disagree, combination sleepers who change position through the night, and anyone replacing a sagging older mattress who does not want to spend $1,500 to find out whether they like hybrids. Edge support is genuinely good for the price bracket — the perimeter coils hold when you sit to put shoes on, which is where cheap foam beds fail first.

It is the wrong bed for two groups. If you want the deep, slow memory-foam sink, the coil unit will always push back sooner than you want — look at the Nectar instead. And sleepers consistently over about 250 lb per side should step up to a heavier-gauge build like the WinkBed Plus; the Premier supports that weight but its comfort layers soften faster under it.

Classic vs Premier vs Luxe vs Ultra: which DreamCloud to order

The coil technology is shared across the line, so what you are buying as you move up is comfort-layer thickness and cover. The Classic Hybrid is the firmest-feeling and the cheapest; if you are a back or stomach sleeper who dislikes plushness, it is the smart buy and you can stop reading here.

The Premier roughly doubles the cooling fibre and memory foam above those coils, which is what most people are imagining when they picture a hotel bed — the surface gives, then the coils catch you. It is the upgrade we recommend most often, particularly for side sleepers and for couples splitting the difference on firmness.

Above the Premier, the Luxe Hybrid (14 inches, $1,599 queen) and the Ultra Hybrid ($2,099 queen) are plushness purchases rather than support purchases — the coil core does not change. They suit a dedicated side sleeper who wants maximum shoulder cushioning. Two practical warnings: a 14-inch-plus mattress needs deep-pocket sheets, and on a tall platform bed it can put the sleeping surface above 32 inches off the floor.

    Cooling, motion transfer, and durability

Airflow is the reason to choose this over its all-foam sibling. Open channels between the pocketed coils vent heat continuously, and our thermal runs show the Premier's surface temperature plateauing in the first hour rather than climbing all night the way the Nectar's does. The gel foam and cashmere-blend cover help at the margin; the coils do the real work.

Motion transfer is the trade you make for that. Individually wrapped coils limit movement well for a hybrid, but a foam bed still wins the partner-gets-up-at-2am test outright. If one of you is a very light sleeper, weigh that honestly before choosing coils.

On durability, the coil unit is not the concern — the comfort layers are. Expect the plush top to settle noticeably in the first two months (that is break-in, not a defect) and then hold. Rotate head-to-foot every six months; the mattress is not flippable. Use a solid platform or slats spaced no more than about three inches apart, because an unsupported foundation is the single most common reason a warranty claim is denied.

The 365-night trial and the forever warranty, read carefully

DreamCloud gives you a full year to decide, with free return pickup and no restocking fee — more generous than Saatva's $99 return processing and far longer than the WinkBed's 120 nights. There is a 30-night break-in period before a return can be processed, which is standard and reasonable given how much the comfort layers change early on.

The forever warranty is real but tiered. For the first ten years a defective mattress is repaired or replaced at no cost; after year ten the coverage continues as a replacement at a reduced charge rather than free. Sagging is covered past a defined indentation depth measured with no weight on the bed. Keep your proof of purchase and a photo of your bed frame — claims turn on those two things more often than on the mattress itself.

    Best sleep of my life!

After months of research, I finally pulled the trigger on the DreamCloud Premier. It's been 3 months and I can honestly say this is the best mattress I've ever owned. My back pain is gone and I wake up feeling refreshed every morning.

    Great mattress, slight off-gassing

The mattress itself is fantastic - super comfortable and supportive. Only complaint is there was a slight smell when we first unboxed it, but it went away after a couple days.

We had a Tempur-Pedic that cost over $3,000 and honestly the DreamCloud is just as comfortable. The edge support is actually better. Can't believe we waited so long to switch.

    How Sleep Sage Evaluates Mattresses

When a mattress enters our lab, our full testing protocol may include pressure mapping, temperature measurements, edge-support testing, motion-isolation testing and other performance measurements. The steps below describe that protocol — they are not a claim that every reviewed product has been through it.

For products labelled Research Evaluation, we have not completed that physical lab protocol. Those reviews are based on verified construction, manufacturer specifications, policies, comparative analysis and available owner feedback.

Lab Tested: This mattress completed our physical testing protocol. The measurements shown below come from that testing.

    Panel Testing

For mattresses we physically test, our panel may include sleepers with different body weights, sleep positions and comfort preferences over multiple nights.

    Pressure Mapping

For mattresses that enter our lab, our protocol may include pressure mapping to evaluate pressure distribution in side, back and stomach sleeping positions.

    Temperature Testing

For lab-tested mattresses, we may track surface temperature with thermal sensors under controlled conditions (68°F room, 45% RH, standard bedding).

    Edge & Motion Isolation

For mattresses we physically test, edge support may be evaluated with standardized compression loads, while motion transfer may be measured from a standardized drop at multiple distances.

    Durability Simulation

When durability testing is completed, our protocol may apply repeated pressure cycles and compare firmness and support measurements before and after the simulation.

    Value Assessment

For every evaluation, our value review may consider verified materials, certifications, warranty terms and current pricing against comparable products in the category.

Editorial independence: Our testing lab operates independently from our affiliate partnerships. Brands cannot pay for higher scores or influence our methodology. Read our full editorial policy and detailed testing methodology.
