The Brooklyn Bedding ThermoBalance Elite is an 11-layer luxury hybrid with triple cooling technology, HD 5.0 memory foam, zoned lumbar support, and Ascension Max coils. Our 25-night test confirmed it as one of the coolest-sleeping passive mattresses available, with excellent support for back and combination sleepers.

The cooling is a step above the standard ThermoBalance. The triple cooling system — ThermoCool cover, ThermoPhase PCM foam, and copper-infused HD 4.0 foam — creates a cascade of temperature regulation that works continuously.
What truly sets the Elite apart is the zoned lumbar support layer.
The Ascension Max coils are an upgrade over the standard Ascension coils — they're slightly taller and have a higher coil count, resulting in better edge support and more responsive bounce. At $1,749, this is a premium purchase, but the quality of materials and Arizona factory craftsmanship justify the investment for serious hot sleepers who also want targeted support.
