The Aurora Luxe Cooling is the bed Brooklyn Bedding builds its cooling story around, and it is the current generation — not the older Aurora Hybrid. The stack is a GlacioTex cooling cover over quilt foam, 1.5 inches of VX 3.5 copper-infused responsive foam, an inch of HD 3.0 memory foam, an inch of Variflex transition foam and an 8-inch Ascension zoned coil unit of up to 1,032 individually encased coils on a base foam layer. It stands 13.25 inches, or 14.5 inches with the optional Cloud Pillowtop, and is sold in Soft, Medium and Firm at the same price. Brooklyn Bedding manufactures it in its own Arizona factory, which is where the factory-direct pricing comes from.

The Aurora Luxe Cooling is Brooklyn Bedding's cooling flagship, and the cooling story is built into the materials rather than bolted on: a GlacioTex cover at the surface, then copper-infused VX 3.5 foam beneath it.
At $1,999 queen it sits above Brooklyn Bedding's own Signature and below most luxury hybrids. All three firmness builds — Soft, Medium and Firm — cost the same, which is unusual and genuinely useful if you are unsure which feel you need.
The copper foam is responsive rather than slow-conforming, so on paper it should make repositioning easier than a memory-foam bed of the same softness. The single inch of HD 3.0 memory foam underneath is what adds the contour, and it is a thin layer by design.
The Ascension coil unit is zoned with a reinforced perimeter, which is the construction reason to expect usable edges. The 120-night trial is short next to Nectar or Saatva, though the limited lifetime warranty is stronger than most. For hot sleepers who want a choice of firmness, the Aurora Luxe is a sensible shortlist entry.

Two things do the cooling work here, and both are materials rather than claims. The GlacioTex cover is Brooklyn Bedding's heat-conductive fabric, fitted as standard on the Aurora Luxe rather than sold as an upgrade the way the same brand sells it on the Titan line. Under it sits 1.5 inches of VX 3.5 copper-infused foam; copper is a conductive metal, and infusing it into foam is a common approach to moving heat away from the surface.
This is a research evaluation. We have not put the Aurora Luxe through our instrumented thermal protocol, so this page contains no surface-temperature figure, no degree-of-rise measurement and no overnight test result. What we can say is what the mattress is built from and what that construction is designed to do.
Three firmnesses at one price, and what changes between them
Soft, Medium and Firm all cost $1,999 in a queen and all use the same 8-inch Ascension zoned coil unit underneath. What changes is the comfort layer formulation above the coils, which is why the height stays at 13.25 inches across the range.
If you sleep mostly on your side, the Soft build gives the shoulders and hips somewhere to go. If you sleep on your back or your front, or you are over roughly 230 lb, the Firm build keeps the hips from dropping. Combination sleepers are usually best served by the Medium. Brooklyn Bedding also offers a one-time comfort exchange within the trial window, which is the safety net if you choose wrong.
Where the 120-night trial leaves you
The warranty is the strong half of the policy package: limited lifetime, which beats the ten- and fifteen-year terms common at this price. The trial is the weak half. One hundred and twenty nights is enough time to adapt to a new bed, but it is a third of what Nectar, DreamCloud and Saatva offer, and if you are the kind of buyer who wants a full season of use before deciding, that gap matters.
Because the mattress is made to order in Brooklyn Bedding's own factory, delivery takes longer than a warehouse-stocked boxed bed, and there is no white glove setup included. Budget for handling a heavy queen yourself or arranging help.
