Ben Trapskin has evaluated the Helix Midnight Luxe in person through his work at Yawnder. This gives the review firsthand showroom familiarity, but we do not have recorded instrumented results or an overnight home-test diary for this model.
Helix positions the Midnight family for side and side-combination sleepers. The Luxe build adds a quilted pillow top, memory foam and a zoned pocketed-coil unit with extra lumbar support by design. Helix calls this model Medium and illustrates its firmness at 6/10; that number is Helix's rating, not a Sleep Sage measurement.
The standard cover is TENCEL, while GlacioTex is an optional paid cooling-cover upgrade. We have not recorded thermal results for either configuration, so the upgrade should be considered a materials choice rather than a proven temperature improvement in our own testing.
For shoppers comparing Helix options, the meaningful questions are whether a medium pillow top fits their preferred feel, whether the zoned construction is comfortable at their body weight, and whether the Luxe features justify its higher cost over Core. Back and stomach sleepers may want to compare a firmer Helix model in person.

From the top, per Helix's published specification: a quilted pillow-top cover (TENCEL as standard, GlacioTex as an optional upgrade), then memory foam, then a transition layer, then a zoned pocketed-coil unit that Helix makes firmer under the lumbar third, over a base layer. Total height is 13.5 inches.
The zoning is what separates Luxe from the core Midnight on paper. Zoned coils are designed to let the shoulder sink further than the hip, which is the alignment side sleepers typically need.

Skip the Midnight Luxe if you sleep mainly on your stomach — a medium pillow-topped surface can let the hips drop. Twilight Luxe is the Helix answer there. Heavier side sleepers should compare Helix's Elite or a model with published reinforced support before buying.
