The cover material felt durable, not thin or flimsy like some entry-level hybrids, and it had a slightly textured, almost brushed feel.
While the edge support was significantly better than the all-foam T&N Original, with perhaps 2 inches less sinkage when sitting on the perimeter, it's not a true 'firm edge' like some flippable mattresses. Strictly stomach sleepers over 230 pounds might find it slightly too soft for optimal hip support over long periods, potentially leading to a slight dip in the lower back. Also, if you prefer the deep, contouring hug of traditional memory foam, this mattress won't deliver that sensation.
At $1195 for a queen, the T&N Hybrid sits comfortably in the mid-range for a well-built hybrid, offering a strong value proposition compared to options like the Helix Midnight, which often runs $200-$300 more for similar features. Their 100-night sleep trial is standard, and the 10-year warranty is competitive.
