Nectar's naming is the first thing to get straight. Classic, Premier and Luxe each exist as an all-foam bed and as a hybrid, and the specifications differ between them. This page is only about the 13-inch Premier Hybrid — not the Premier memory foam bed, not the Classic Hybrid, and not the Luxe.
What the Premier Hybrid buys over the Classic Hybrid is comfort-layer depth and cover technology: Nectar states roughly 60% more cooling fibre in the cover and double the memory foam. The coil unit below it is the same idea in both — eight inches of individually wrapped coils with a reinforced perimeter.
At $1,199 queen the value case is straightforward, and the policies do a lot of the work: a 365-night trial and the Forever Warranty are unusual at this price. Those two things are the main reason people buy Nectar over a similarly specified hybrid from a smaller brand.
Set expectations on feel. This is still a memory-foam-led bed — the surface responds slowly, and if you dislike that sensation, the coils underneath will not change it. Nectar does not publish foam densities or coil counts, so anyone trying to compare durability spec-for-spec against a premium hybrid will not find the numbers.

The Premier Hybrid is 13 inches tall and has an 8-inch pocketed coil core. The Premier memory foam bed shares the name but has no coils at all. The Classic Hybrid has the same basic idea as the Premier Hybrid with thinner comfort layers and less cooling fibre in the cover. Nectar states the Premier Hybrid carries roughly 60% more cooling fibre and double the pressure-relieving memory foam of the Classic Hybrid.
Because the names repeat across two constructions, the safest check at checkout is the height and the layer list, not the model name: 13 inches with an 8-inch coil layer is the Premier Hybrid.
What the coils change for edge support and couples
Individually wrapped coils with a reinforced perimeter are the main structural difference between this bed and Nectar's all-foam models. Reinforced perimeter coils are the standard way to stop a mattress collapsing when you sit on the edge to put shoes on, and they give usable sleeping surface right to the border — which matters most on a queen shared by two adults.
Pocketed coils also move independently, so combined with two inches of memory foam above them the bed should handle a partner's movement well. We have not run motion-transfer measurements on this model, so that is a construction-based expectation rather than a lab figure.
Cooling: what a cooling cover does and does not do
Nectar knits cooling fibres into the cover with an antimicrobial treatment, and the coil layer adds airflow through the middle of the mattress. Covers like this reliably feel cool when you first lie down, because the fabric conducts heat away from your skin faster than a standard knit.
Over a full night, temperature depends more on how much of you the comfort layers wrap and how freely air moves through the core. Two inches of memory foam is meaningful contouring, so expect a bed that is cooler than an all-foam Nectar but warmer than a firm latex hybrid.
