About Zoma
Zoma launched in 2018 as the athlete-oriented sibling to Amerisleep, built around the idea that a mattress should help you recover overnight rather than simply feel comfortable.
The lineup is small on purpose: the Zoma Start as the entry foam bed, the Zoma Mattress as the core recovery model, the Zoma Boost as the premium graphite-infused hybrid, and a Hybrid in between.
In our testing the signature feature is the zoned Triangulex comfort layer — segmented cut-outs under the shoulders and hips with a solid section under the lumbar. It is a genuine zoning system, not a marketing print, and it reads noticeably more supportive at the waist than flat foam at the same price.

They share ownership and manufacturing. Zoma is positioned as the recovery and athlete brand at lower price points, while Amerisleep runs the wider AS1–AS5 firmness ladder. Foam quality is comparable; the constructions and firmness options differ.
Is Zoma good for back pain?
The zoned Triangulex layer keeps the lumbar from dipping while softening under the shoulders and hips, which is the geometry that tends to help back sleepers and combination sleepers with lower-back pain. Heavier sleepers should choose the Zoma Boost hybrid for the coil support.
How firm is the Zoma Mattress?

Does Zoma sleep hot?
