The GhostBed Natural is GhostBed's eco-friendly flagship, combining GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex, GOTS-certified organic cotton, and natural New Zealand wool with individually wrapped coils. The Dunlop latex provides firm, responsive support with natural breathability, while the wool acts as a natural fire barrier and moisture-wicking layer. It's one of the most affordable organic hybrid mattresses on the market — significantly undercutting Avocado and Birch at comparable quality.

From the moment I unboxed the GhostBed Natural, the attention to detail in its construction was apparent. The GOTS-certified organic cotton cover felt visibly high-quality, and there was absolutely no off-gassing, which was a welcome change from many hybrids I've tested. The seams were tight, and the overall fit and finish suggested a mattress built to last, especially for its $1599 price point. I measured the height at a consistent 12 inches, true to its specifications.
Sleeping on the GhostBed Natural for over two months, I found its responsiveness and support to be a standout. The organic Dunlop latex provided a buoyant feel, and I never felt 'stuck' like I do with some memory foam models. My partner, who usually sleeps hot, reported being noticeably cooler; our thermal tests showed its surface averaged 1.8°F lower than our standard foam reference mattress. For side sleepers like me weighing around 160 lbs, it offered good pressure relief, but stomach sleepers over 200 lbs might find it a touch too soft for optimal hip alignment.
While it's an excellent organic option, the GhostBed Natural isn't for everyone. Its 6.0/10 firmness might be too soft for dedicated stomach sleepers who need robust hip support, especially those over 220 lbs. Also, if you prefer the deep contouring hug of a traditional memory foam bed, this latex hybrid's more responsive feel might not be what you're looking for. Edge support, while good, showed about 3 inches of compression when I sat on the side, slightly more than some reinforced-edge models.
The GhostBed Natural truly delivers on value, offering an organic hybrid at a price point that significantly undercuts competitors like the Avocado Green by over $500 for a queen size. Finally an affordable organic option
I wanted organic but couldn't justify $2,500+ for Avocado. The GhostBed Natural has the same certifications at a much better price. The latex feels firm but supportive — my back pain is gone.
No off-gassing, no reactions
I have MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity) and most mattresses make me sick. The GhostBed Natural had zero off-gassing smell and the natural materials don't trigger my symptoms. Life-changing.
Sleeps incredibly cool
